Writing Guidelines
GENERAL GUIDELINES
- The manuscript must be a publication of community service outcomes.
- The manuscript should be written in .doc or .docx format using the provided template. The article writing template can be downloaded from https://lpm.unla.ac.id/ojs/index.php/tribhakti.
- The filename must follow the format: FullName_FullAffiliation, where FullName is written without spaces and FullAffiliation refers to the full name of the institution, also without spaces. Maximum file size is 5 MB.
- The manuscript must be written in Indonesian or English, using Times New Roman font size 11, 1.0 line spacing, and should be 8 to 15 pages long.
- Manuscripts in .doc or .docx format must be uploaded to https://lpm.unla.ac.id/ojs/index.php/tribhakti using an author account created through the registration menu.
- The page layout is in two columns with equal width and 5 mm spacing between columns. However, the title, author name(s), affiliation, email, and abstract should be formatted in a single column.
- Paper size is A4 with the following margins: top, bottom, and left at 3 cm; right at 2 cm.
STRUCTURE OF THE MANUSCRIPT
- Preliminary section: title, author name(s), affiliation(s), email address(es), and abstract.
- Main section: introduction, implementation method, results and discussion, conclusions and suggestions (if any).
- Final section: acknowledgments (if any), symbol explanations (if any), and references.
TITLE AND AUTHOR(S)
- The title should be written in uppercase, bold, Times New Roman font size 12, single-spaced, with a maximum of 15 words.
- Author names are written below the title without academic titles, not abbreviated, capitalized at the beginning, and without the word “by.” The order of authors starts with the first author followed by co-authors.
- The name of the institution and the email address of each author should be written below the author names in Times New Roman font size 10.
ABSTRACT
- The abstract should be written in Indonesian or English and must include the background/problem, solution method, and results. The word Abstract must be bold-italic.
- The abstract should not exceed 250 words and must be single-spaced.
- The content of the abstract should be written in Times New Roman font size 11, italic, in one paragraph without indentation.
- The abstract must be accompanied by Keywords (bold-italic) consisting of 3–5 words representing the core of the abstract. Keywords should be in Times New Roman font size 11, italic.
GENERAL WRITING RULES
- Subheadings should be written in Times New Roman font size 11 and bold.
- New paragraphs must have a first-line indent of 0.63 cm; do not add extra spacing between paragraphs.
- Foreign words should be written in italics.
- All numbers must be written as numerals, except when appearing at the beginning of a sentence or when expressing whole numbers less than ten.
- Tables and figures must be clearly labeled and sequentially numbered. Table titles are placed above the table; figure titles are placed below the figure.
REFERENCES
References should support the introduction, implementation method, and discussion. A minimum of four references from journals (print or online) is required. Use the Harvard Referencing Standard. Every reference listed must be cited in the manuscript. Up-to-date references are strongly encouraged.
Use a reference manager (e.g., Microsoft Word References, Mendeley, Zotero, RefWorks, EndNote, etc.) to manage citations and references. The reference list must be generated by the reference manager used.
ADDITIONAL RULES
- Equation Writing. Mathematical equations must be clearly written using Microsoft Equation or similar software and numbered as shown in the template.
- Tables must be numbered sequentially (Table 1, etc.) with no right or left borders. Table titles should be centered and placed above the table.
- Figures must be numbered sequentially (Figure 1, etc.). The figure title should be centered and placed below the figure.
TEMPLATE
- The template file is named tribhakti-template-klik-2x.dotx. To use it, double-click the file (do not open it directly), and it will automatically create a new Word document.
- The template includes pre-defined styles; simply type your manuscript in the corresponding sections. If copying from an existing document, use Paste Special > Keep Text Only.
- Template styles include: Normal for paragraph text; Title for article title; Heading 1 for section headings; Abstract for abstract and keywords; Author for author names, affiliations, and email addresses; and Reference for references.
